The Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland National Conference is the flagship event of Awareness Week, bringing together leading experts, clinicians, researchers, advocates and individuals with lived experience for a day of learning, discussion and connection.
This year's conference will explore the latest research, best practice and lived experiences of Dyspraxia/DCD, while providing practical information and opportunities for networking and community building.
Following on from the success of our Dyspraxia/DCD Awareness Week, we are delighted to announce that this year's Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland National Conference will take place on Saturday 17th October 2026, forming the centrepiece of Dyspraxia/DCD Awareness Week, which runs from Monday 12th October to Saturday 17th October.
The theme for both Awareness Week and this year's conference is:
Every person living with Dyspraxia/DCD has a unique journey. Throughout Awareness Week and at our National Conference, we will celebrate those experiences, raise awareness of the lifelong impact of Dyspraxia/DCD, and highlight the importance of understanding, inclusion and support across every stage of life.
Following discussions with our members and feedback from previous conferences, we are pleased to once again offer a varied programme designed to support children, teenagers, adults, parents, carers, educators, clinicians and employers. The conference will feature keynote presentations, expert clinical discussions, lived experience, practical workshops and opportunities to connect with others from across the Dyspraxia/DCD community.
Discounted room rates are available for conference attendees wishing to stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on the night before the conference, Friday 16th October, subject to availability.
