Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland Supports Successful New Research Funding Award

Dr Sinead McCauley Lamb has been awarded Research Ireland New Foundations research funding with the support of Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland.

This project aims to generate new research data, evidence and insights in relation to the current practice, knowledge and understanding of early childhood educators and caregivers regarding children’s early years motor development.

Building on the expertise of both partners DCU Institute of Education/DCU Centre for Inclusive Pedagogy and Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland, the research aims to identify specific supports that early childhood educators and caregivers require to promote the motor development of young children, and to design a developmentally appropriate training course and resources to be made available at both a community and national level.
