Financial Supports for Employers
Make inclusion a reality in your workplace today. These government supports are designed to remove barriers and make hiring and supporting neurodivergent employees easier and cost-effective. Whether you need to adapt your premises, provide assistive technology, or access training for your team, there are grants and programmes available to help. These schemes are designed to help businesses recruit, retain, and support employees with disabilities and neurodivergent conditions, including DCD (Dyspraxia).
- What it is Funding to modify the workplace so it is accessible for employees with disabilities.
- Amount Up to €25,000.
- Examples Installing ramps, accessible toilets, ergonomic furniture, or assistive technology.
- What it is Helps cover the cost of specialised equipment or assistive technology for employees with disabilities.
- Amount Up to €12,000.
- Examples Speech-to-text software, adapted keyboards, screen readers.
- What it is A financial incentive for employers to hire people with disabilities who may have reduced productivity due to their condition.
- Amount €6.30 per hour (up to 39 hours per week), maximum approx. €12,776 annually.
- Eligibility Employee must work at least 15 hours per week under a 6-month contract.
- What it is Funding for employers to provide disability and inclusion training to staff.
- Purpose Build awareness and confidence in supporting employees with disabilities and neurodivergent conditions.
- What it is A comprehensive set of supports replacing the Reasonable Accommodation Fund and Disability Awareness Support Scheme.
