I am a qualified pre accredited psychotherapist practicing Integrative psychotherapy and registered with the IACP (Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists). I also hold an Honours Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy an MA in Deaf Education, HDip in Special Educational Needs, HDip in Deaf Education, HDip in Education, BA (Hons) English and History.
I have experience in working with neurodivergent clients including clients with DCD/ Dyspraxia, ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia. I offer support around issues such as self-esteem, social anxiety, self-regulation, stress and trauma. I am also a general psychotherapist and have supported clients with anxiety, depression and relationship issues.
I am a secondary school teacher with qualifications in Deaf and Special Education and have worked in this field for over 20 years and I have been volunteering as a counsellor with DCD Ireland since 2022. I am currently undertaking training for an MA in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy with the Personal Counselling Institute.
