The focus of this digital resource library is to provide young people and their families with the tools to help themselves develop Activity of Daily Living (ADL) skills and improve independence and quality of life as a result.
Activity of Daily Living skills or ADLs, are fundamental daily tasks that people are required to complete every day. These can include shoelace tying, cutlery use, opening jars, food preparation, opening packages and many more.
In the digital resource library below, you will find a range of video and text-based resources to support young people and their families to take ownership in developing these skills.
These resources will be free to access for everyone, allowing those who cannot or do not want to engage with the clinical consultation to access the resources and develop these skills independently.
Before beginning, please read this Introductory Information to get the most from the resources we have provided.
