Volunteering with Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland can be a very worthwhile and rewarding opportunity to make a real and important difference in someone’s life. Our team is made up of parents and professionals, with skills that add to our expertise, all of who give their time on a voluntary basis.
With the workload that is involved in running the office, raising awareness, giving information talks in schools, managing the helpline, fundraising, attending meetings, organising workshops, seminars, talks and the annual summit... there is a lot to be covered. In order to share this workload we are always looking for and welcome new volunteers to the organisation.
Before you become a volunteer with us, we go through a careful recruitment process to ensure that you will be happy in your volunteering role. Our volunteers support us both in the office and around the country. To join the team, you will need to complete the application process which includes Garda Vetting, Reference Checks and Training. For more information please see below or contact the office on 01 8747085 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
