Support Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland

The following is a list of ways you can help the organisation achieve its goals:

Become a Member

We are always looking for more members to join the organisation. Becoming a member helps the organisation as we rely on subscriptions as a form of very much needed funding. It also provides us with a larger voice when communicating with Government Departments and assists us in raising the awareness of Dyspraxia/DCD. In return members receive a membership card, regular newsletters and information from the organisation and discounts on events organised and run by Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland. In addition soon they will receive access to information contained in the members only section of our website.

Join a Support Group

Our support groups around the country provide vital assistance to Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland and our members. These support groups help raise awareness of Dyspraxia/DCD in their communities, whether it is by organising talks in local schools or raising issues with local politicians. They also provide a support structure for parents and children affected by Dyspraxia/DCD with regular meetings and information evenings for parents and adults with Dyspraxia/DCD. Also many of these groups organise summer camps and other activities throughout the year for children with Dyspraxia/DCD. For further information contact the office on 01 8747085 or email

Be Part of Our Team

Our team is made up of parents and professionals, with skills that add to our expertise, who give their time on a voluntary basis. With the workload that is involved in running the office, raising awareness, giving information talks in schools, managing the helpline, fundraising, attending meetings, organising workshops, seminars, talks and the annual summit... there is a lot to be covered. In order to share this workload we are always looking for and welcome new volunteers to the organisation. For further information contact the office on 01 8747085 or email

Help us Raise Awareness

We are always looking at ways by which we can raise awareness of Dyspraxia/DCD throughout Ireland. If you can help in anyway we would very much like to hear from you. We will provide all the information and booklets etc and assist you with this in any way we can. For further information contact the office on 01 8747085 or email

Your donations go a long way towards helping Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland support those affected by Dyspraxia/DCD. They help us provide a helpline to all those in need of support, raise awareness about Dyspraxia/DCD, run information evenings, organise activities for children and provide much needed services for people dealing with Dyspraxia/DCD.

Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland relies on corporate donations and community fundraising to supplement our annual funding. There is simply no way we could bring our services to so many people without this support. We would very much welcome the opportunity to discuss our objectives and plans further with any interested companies. We will work closely with you to develop and support your corporate social responsibilities goals; from helping to organise a one-off event to building a long-term partnership. To discuss corporate partnership opportunities with Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland please contact Harry Conway on 01 8747085 or email
