Welcome to the
The Dyspraxia Association of Ireland is working on several new collaborative projects with DIT students and staff, supported by DIT’s Programme for Students Learning With Communities.
First year Product Design students are working to develop concepts for toys, aids or products suitable for people with dyspraxia;
Fourth year Human Nutrition and Dietetics students are working with a group of parents and children to explore issues relating to healthy eating;
Third and Fourth year Visual Communications students are designing options for a new logo and branding for the Dyspraxia Association.
All these projects are built into the students’ coursework, and will be finishing in May/June 2012, and we hope that the processes and outcomes will be mutually beneficial to all involved.
These projects are part of the process of building a long-term relationship between the Dyspraxia Association and DIT, exploring the possibilities for relevant collaborative projects and research in a range of disciplines.
We at all times encourage members to let us know their feelings and ideas to help make life so much better for all children,teens and adults with Dyspraxia .
